Time Driver’s License Renewal
Officers positions in the City of
Lawrenceburg Administration
Department. Applications for this
position will be accepted until 3:00 PM
on July 20, 2018. The Job Application

The job will pay $12 per hour not to
exceed 24 hours of work per week.
The job does not include standard
benefits afforded to full-time city

NOTICE OF PROBATE COURT LAND SALE
Pursuant to a decree rendered by the Probate Court, at Lawrenceburg, Tennessee filed on April 20, 2018 in the above styled case I will on Saturday, July 28, 2018 at 10:00 a.m., sell at public auction to the highest and best bidder the property belonging to the Estate of Diane Elizabeth Watts.
The sale will be held on the premises at 70 Byrd Road, Lawrenceburg, TN. The property being more particularly described as follows:
Tract 1 #: Situated, lying and being in the 9th Civil District, said County and State, and being part of what is known as the west end of Farm Lot No. 15 of the First Division of the C.G.C.H. Association, conveyed to Ben B. Belew, by deed dated December 15, 1945, and recorded in Deed Book No. 89, page 255, ROLC, Tenn. more specifically bounded and described as follows:
BEGINNING at a stake which prior to this conveyance represented the northwest corner of Ben B. Belew’s land; thence south 18 deg. east 38 poles with a road to an iron stake in the east edge of road; thence east 102 poles with the north boundary line of a tract of land belonging to Joe Belew to a rock corner and hickory pointers on the west side of creek; thence north 18 deg. west 38 poles to a rock corner with hickory pointers; thence west 102 poles to the beginning and containing 23 acres, more or less.
Tract 2#: In the 9th Civil District, said County and State and being part of the land conveyed to Ben B. Belew by G. A. Dugger and wife, deed recorded in Book No. 89, page 255, Register’s Office of Lawrence County, and that part of the said tract conveyed hereby is bounded as follows:
BEGINNING at a rock the northwest corner of this tract, a corner the northeast corner of the land now owned by James D. Martin; thence south 18 deg. east 38 poles to a rock; with oak and hickory pointers; thence east 112 poles to a point in the middle of Weakley Creek with tree pointers: thence north 18 deg. west 38 poles with the center of said creek to a point in the middle of said creek with hornbeam, sycamore, elm and dogwood pointers: thence west 116 poles to the beginning and containing 27 acres, more or less.
The two aforementioned tracts are the same property conveyed to Diane Hamilton by Warranty Deed from D.G. Thornberry and wife Clara Sue Thornberry dated February 16, 1970, and of record in Deed Book 143, Pages 203-4, Register’s Office of Lawrence County, Tennessee.

TERMS OF SALE: The above real estate will be sold for cash with 10% down day of sale with the balance due on or before 30 days from date of the sale’s confirmation by the Court. The sale will be held open for ten (10) days until August 7th, 2018 at 10:00 a.m., during which time a person may come to the office of the Clerk and Master at the Lawrence County Courthouse and raise the highest bid received at the auction by 10% and depositing 10% of that bid with the court. If the bid is advanced another auction will be held at the Lawrence County Courthouse on Wednesday, August 8th, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. The high bidder on that day will be the buyer. If the bid is not advanced, the high bidder at the sale will be the buyer. Possession passes upon delivery of deed. Taxes for 2018 to be prorated between the buyer and seller assuming 2017 tax rates. Announcements made day of sale take precedence over all printed material.
