Darrell Dewayne Johnson, age 57, of Lawrenceburg, was called home to be with the Lord on, Saturday, July 28, 2018, surrounded by loved ones.
He was a native of Aurora, CO, self-employed in construction; and a member of Jones Chapel Nazarene Church in Thompson’s Station, TN.
He was preceded in death by his father, Lodus Johnson; and two brothers, Arnold Johnson and Timothy Johnson.
He is survived by wife, Doll Rigsby Johnson; son, Neal (Holly) Johnson; daughter, Amanda Johnson (Matthew Noland); two step-daughters, Shannon (Mark) Wright and April Rigsby; mother, Vicky Johnson; three sisters, Faye (DJ) Huffman, Brenda (Dan) Miller, and Ranee (Wade) Robison; grandchildren, Talan, Madyn, and Sutton Johnson; and several nieces and nephews.
Graveside services and interment for Darrell Dewayne Johnson were conducted at Johnson Cemetery in Thompson’s Station, TN at 12:30 p.m. Sunday, July 29, 2018, with Gary Fewell officiating. Pallbearers were: Neal Johnson, Ben Johnson, Mark Wright, Tony Smith, Matthew Noland, and Dewayne Sandlin. Honorary pallbearers were: Steven Andrews, David Andrews, and Rick Smith.
