Ozielee Clara Smith Hollis
Ozielee Clara Smith Hollis, a native of Lawrence County, 86 years of age went to be with her Lord and Savior Tuesday, July 31, 2018 at NHC Brink.
She was an amazing wife, mother, grandmother, Pastor, and friend. She loved us unconditionally and that love was returned. She will be greatly missed, but we know she is in heaven singing all the songs she wrote about her Lord.
She was preceded in death by her parents, David and Virgie Hull Smith, and the love of her life since she was 17, William Thomas “Tommy” Hollis Jr. They owned and operated Hollis Meat Processing until they retired. In later years she founded and pastored Ark of Safety Pentecostal Church.
To mourn and cherish her memories she left sisters, Virginia Williams and Joyce Story. Her children Mona Hollis Christian, Michael (Jane) Hollis, Timothy Hollis. Her grandchildren Julie (Joey) Thomas, Darla (Kenneth) Robinson, Jacob (Destiny) Hollis, Abby (William) Quillen, Brianna Hollis, and Pitten Hollis. Her great grandchildren Cheyenne Thomas, Ethan, Ema Lee, Ellie Robinson, and Will Quillen.
