Seldon Brock Golden, age 94 of Five Points, TN, passed away Wednesday, August 8, 2018 at home after a extended illness.

He was a native of Lawrence Co, TN, a retired bus driver and Co. Owner of Thigpen Grocery and Janitor for LHS, a Veteran of The United States Army Serving in WWII and a POW and a member of Bluewater Baptist Church.

He was preceded in death by his wife: Helen Geneva Thigpen Golden; parents: Homer & Jenny Mae Shackleford Golden; brothers: Wyatt, Haran, Max, Linden and Billy Gene Golden; sisters: Wynell Golden, Helen Baldwin and Elaine Edmondson.

He is survived by two daughters: Kathy Cottrell of Leoma, TN and Jackie Fowler of Five Points, TN; five grandchildren; five great grandchildren; four great great-grandchildren.

Funeral services for Seldon Brock Golden were held at Loretto Memorial Chapel on Saturday, August 11, 2018 at 1:00 p.m. with Carlos Casteel, Billy Hagan and Scripture Reading by M’lee Pomes officiating. Burial followed in Bonnertown Cemetery with Military Honors at Graveside.
