Bob Boyd, age 72 of Appleton, TN, passed away Saturday, August 25, 2018 at NHC Scott Healthcare after a extended illness.

He was a native of Lawrence Co., a tool and die maker for Murray Ohio, part owner of The Big Red Store in Appleton and a member of Appleton Church of Christ.

He was preceded in death by his parents: Tom Boyd and Brina Boyd Nelson; sister: Betty Boyd Thompson and brother: Jerry Don Boyd.

He is survived by his wife: Linda Harrison Boyd of Appleton, TN; son: Steven Keith Boyd Chicago, IL; brothers: Bill Boyd of Decatur, AL, and Ted Boyd of Murfreesboro, TN.

Funeral services for Bob Boyd were held at Loretto Memorial Chapel on Tuesday, August 28, 2018 at 1:00 p.m. with Miles Stutts officiating. Burial followed in Dobbins Cemetery.
