Lorene M. Burnett

Lorene M. Burnett, age 90, of Lawrenceburg, passed away Wednesday, August 29, 2018 at NHC Healthcare of Scott in Lawrenceburg.

She was a native of Lawrence County, TN, retired owner of the Frosty Drive In, and retired from Forest Hills Sportswear.  She was also a member of the VFW, and lifetime member of the American Legion Ladies Auxiliary.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Richard and Floy Cox Mabry; and her husband, William D. Burnett.

She is survived by one son: Ronald Burnett, Lawrenceburg; two grandchildren: Jonathan Burnett (Susan), and Will Burnett (Brooke), both of Lawrenceburg; three great grandchildren: Kimberly Burnett, Jacoby Burnett, and Liam Burnett, all of Lawrenceburg.

Funeral services for Lorene M. Burnett were conducted at Neal Funeral Home at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, September 1, 2018, with Wayne Martin officiating. Interment followed at Lawrence County Memorial Gardens in Lawrenceburg. Condolences may be sent by way of our website at www.nealfuneralhome.net.
