Beverly Burks Smith, age 59 of St. Joseph, TN passed away Saturday, September 8, 2018 at home after a sudden illness.

She was a native of Lawrence County, worked for M-Fine, and of the Baptist faith.

She is preceded in death by her daughter: Tanya Burks.

She is survived by her husband: Dexter H. Smith of St. Joseph, TN; two daughters: Megan Burks of Rogersville, AL, and Hailey Killen of Killen, AL; two brothers: Stanley Atwell and Allen Atwell both of Iron City, TN; one sister: Debbie Covey of St. Joseph, TN; four grandchildren; two great grandchildren.

Visitation for Beverly Burks Smith will be held today Wednesday, September 12, 2018 from 11:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at Loretto Memorial Chapel. Graveside services for Beverly Burks Smith will be held at St. Joseph Cemetery on Wednesday, September 12, 2018 at 1:00 p.m. with Anthony Potts officiating. Burial will follow in St. Joseph Cemetery.
