Tony Ray Smith, age 58, of Summertown, TN passed away Saturday, September 15, 2018 at Southern TN Regional Health System in Lawrenceburg, TN.

He was a native of Lawrence County, TN, retired from Armor Environmental Waste Management, former member of Ethridge Fire Department, Summertown Fire Department, and a member of Summertown Baptist Church.

He is survived by wife: Angie Clark Smith, Summertown, TN; parents: Bill and Betty Clifft Smith, Summertown, TN; two brothers: Jerry Smith (Debbie) and Jeff Smith (Linda), both of Summertown, TN; two sisters: Joan Konig (Jimmy) and Judy Dickson (Danny), both of Summertown, TN; three sons: Michael Smith (Hailey), Kade Smith (Megan), and Ethan Smith (Adeanna), all of Summertown, TN; one daughter: Kayla Smith, Summertown, TN; two step children: Brandon Hallmark (Haley), Summertown, TN and Bethany Farrier (AJ), Lynnville, TN; five grandchildren: Jac Hallmark, Hagan Smith, Larson Smith, and Kyler Smith, all of Summertown, TN, and Davis Farrier, Lynnville, TN.

Funeral services for Tony Ray Smith were conducted at Neal Funeral Home at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, September 19, 2018, with Jeff Smith and Howard L. Kitter officiating.  Interment followed at Freedom Cemetery in Lawrence County, TN. Those serving as pallbearers were Michael Smith, Kade Smith, Ethan Smith, Brandon Hallmark, AJ Farrier, and Scott Clifft. Honorary pallbearers were Alan Osborne “Hillbilly”, Jimmy Sedberry “Popeye”, Roy Henson “Killer”, Jerry Rowland “Jerry Tommy”, Ricky Burleson, and Ervin Clark Family suggests memorials be made to National Multiple Sclerosis (MS) Society – Mid South Chapter, 214 Overlook Circle, Suite 153, Brentwood, TN 37207.  Condolences may be sent by way of our website at www.nealfuneralhome.net.
