Billy “Chicken” Benefield

Billy “Chicken” Benefield, age 78, of Brentwood, formerly of Ethridge, passed away Saturday, October 7, 2018 after a long battle with Alzheimer’s disease.

He was preceded in death by his parents: Herman and Pearl Benefield; and a brother: Nig Benefield.

He is survived by his wife: Carla Benefield; a son: Ryan Benefield; one brother: Gene (Nancy) Benefield, of Salem, VA; one sister: Jeanette (Charles) Matheny; several nieces and nephews.

A memorial service for Billy “Chicken” Benefield will be held at a later date.
