Thomas Futch, age 66, of Summertown, TN passed away Friday, January 4, 2019 at his residence.
He was a native of Hahira, GA, a mechanic at Sunbelt Rentals, and a member of Unity Baptist Church.
He was preceded in death by his parents: Johnny Hershell and Charlotte Gaskins Futch; three brothers: Randy Futch, John Albert Futch, and Larry Futch; and one sister: Jenny Taylor.
He is survived by his wife of 26 years: Shirley Yvonne Bivens Futch, Summertown, TN; two sons: Michael Dale Murks (Jeana) and Rodney Wayne Murks (Jill), both of Summertown, TN; four grandchildren: David Michael Murks (Whitley), Austin James Murks, Cody Lee Murks, Zach Leighton Murks; three sisters: Betty Sue Pidgen, Nashville, GA, Durinda Talley, Montgomery, AL, Johniette Sizemore, Nashville, GA; favorite mother-in-law: June Bivens, Lawrenceburg, TN; several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services for Thomas Futch were conducted at Neal Funeral Home at 1:00 p.m. on Monday, January 7, 2019, with Brandon Smith and Robin Jackson officiating.  Interment followed at Brace Cemetery in Lawrence County, TN.
