Vernice Imogene Glass Sims, age 86 of Leoma, TN passed away Tuesday, January 22, 2019 at STRHS – Lawrenceburg after an extended illness.
She was a native of Lawrence County, TN, a homemaker and a member of Centerpoint Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband: Charlie E. Sims; parents: Lester and Clara Mae Richardson Glass; brothers: Howard and Johnnie Glass; and grandson: Allen Sims.
She is survived by her son: Danny Lee Sims (Patricia), Loretto, TN; daughter: Jackie Diane Gulley, Leoma, TN; brother: Villard Glass (Debra), Florence, AL; sisters: Virginia Sudduth, Taylor, MI and Mary Ann Kelton (Herbert), Leoma, TN; four grandchildren: Michelle Gulley, Kerry Stricklin (Will), Erin Pesnell (Troy), Sherry Willin; several great and great-great-grandchildren.
Funeral services for Vernice Imogene Glass Sims were held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, January 25, 2019 at Loretto Memorial Chapel, Inc. with Thomas Mattox officiating.
