Willie Walters, age 84 of Lawrenceburg, TN passed away Wednesday, January 23, 2019 at St. Thomas Hospital after a brief illness.
Mr. Walters was a native of Lawrence County, TN, a veteran of the United States Air Force, a steelworker and a member of Loretto United Christian Church.
He was preceded in death by his parents: Wiley and Lillie Hughes Walters; son: Gary Walters; brother: Marshall Walters; sisters: Dorothy Mashburn, Rachel Williams, and Sis Simbeck; and grandson: Mark Lakich.
Survivors include his wife: Linda Walters, Lawrenceburg, TN; daughter: Loraine Lakich, South Carolina; sister: Margie Perry, Keystone Heights, FL; four grandchildren: Jenny Litzenberger, Angela Walters, Garrett Walters and Josh Wilcox; three great-grandchildren.
Funeral Services for Willie Walters were held at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, January 27, 2019 at Loretto Memorial Chapel, with Mike Ayers officiating. Loretto Memorial Chapel was in charge of all arrangements. Condolences may be sent by way of: www.lorettomemorialchapel.com.
