Alvin Earl Robinson, age 77, of Ethridge, TN passed away Sunday, January 27, 2019 at Southern TN Regional Health System in Pulaski, TN.
He was a native of Lawrenceburg, TN, retired from Pipeline Industries in Tulsa, OK, a member of Pipeliners Union Local 798 and of the Baptist Faith.  Mr. Robinson served his country honorably in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam Era.
He was preceded in death by his parents: Daniel James and Dorothy Ratliff Robinson.
He is survived by three daughters: Rita McDow (Darryl Smith), Goodspring, TN, Regina Pratt (Don), Goodspring, TN, Rebecca Mullins (Matt), Ooltewah, TN; one son: Alvin Daniel Robinson (Jayme), Goodspring, TN; two sisters: Ruth Rosson, Lawrenceburg, TN and Corrine Newton, Lawrenceburg, TN; seven grandchildren: Christopher Darnell, Brittany Darnell, Kristen Jones (Eddie), Dillon Pratt, Josie Robinson, Briana Rhinehart, Luke Mullins; one great-grandchild: Kylee Kay Jones; mother of his children: Virginia Robinson, Goodspring, TN; special companion: Jean Holland, Ethridge, TN; one step-daughter: Jennifer Kobeck, Murfreesboro, TN; two step-grandchildren: Curtis Kobeck and Elizabeth Kobeck.
Funeral services for Alvin Earl Robinson were conducted at at Neal Funeral Home at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, January 30, 2019, with Thomas Mattox officiating.  Burial followed at Oak Grove Cemetery in Giles County, TN with full military honors.
