Jerry Dean Myrick
Jerry Dean Myrick, age 80 of Loretto, TN passed away Monday January 28, 2019 at home after an extended illness.
He was a native of Martin, TN, retired from a 40 year career with Salant/M.Fine as plant superintendent in Loretto, and was a 50+ year member of Loretto United Methodist Church. Jerry enjoyed hunting, fishing, and his family, especially the companionship of Eudora, his high school sweetheart and bride of 60 years. In addition to his wife, Jerry is survived by his sister, three children, and seven grandchildren, who will miss the mischievous twinkle in his eye and dry sense of humor.
Survivors include his wife: Eudora Myrick, Loretto, TN; sons: Chris Myrick (Ellen), Lavergne, TN and Darrell Myrick (Pam), Camden, TN; daughter: Melanie Glover (Joel), Rockford, AL; sister: Donna Barrett, Augusta, GA; seven grandchildren: Justin Glover, Portland, ME, Jackson Myrick, Salt Lake City, UT, Kyle Myrick, Memphis, TN, Caleb Glover, Starksville, MS, Claire Myrick, Groningen, Netherlands, Colin Myrick, Camden, TN, Amelia Myrick, Camden, TN.
Funeral Services for Jerry Dean Myrick were conducted at Loretto United Methodist Church on Friday February 1, 2019 at 2:00 p.m. with Jeff Jacob and David Brown officiating. Burial followed at Loretto Memorial Gardens. Those serving as pallbearers included: Justin Glover, Jackson Myrick, Kyle Myrick, Caleb Glover, Colin Myrick, Jared Barrett, Josh Barrett, and Jake Barrett.
