Austin “Red” Howell, age 72, of Lawrenceburg, TN passed away Sunday, February 3, 2019 at Southern TN Regional Health System in Lawrenceburg, TN.
He was a native of Lawrenceburg, retired brick layer, and of the Christian Faith.
He was preceded in death by his parents: Jack and Marie Bradley Howell; one daughter: Dana Hallmark; and one brother: James Howell.
He is survived by one son: Barry Benson (Belisa), Loretto, TN, and seven grandchildren: Lee Ann Smith Bryce (Jared) and Catie Smith of Lawrenceburg, TN and Wesley Benson, Tasha Benson, Nate Benson, Brenna Slater, and Andrew Benson, all of Loretto, TN.
Funeral services for Austin Howell were conducted at Neal Funeral Home at 3:00 p.m. on Thursday, February 7, 2019, with Tony Ayers officiating. Burial followed at Bumpas Cemetery in Lawrenceburg, TN. Neal Funeral Home was in charge of all arrangements.
