Johnnie Dwayne Brewer was born December 26, 1957 in Ypsilanti, MI the son of the late Carl and Dorothy Holt Brewer. He departed this life at his home on February 9, 2019 in Lawrenceburg, TN at the age of 61 years, 1 month, and 14 days.
In addition to his parents, Mr. Brewer was preceded in death by a brother: James Brewer.
He is survived by his wife: Debra Smith Brewer of Lawrenceburg, TN, whom he married on September 25, 1976; three daughters: Tabitha Griffin of Waynesboro, TN, Jessica Harris and husband Rod of Columbia, TN, Natasha Durham and husband Chris of Hohenwald, TN; brother: Carl Lee Brewer of Ridgely, TN; sister: Dena Jones of Waynesboro, TN; seven grandchildren: Annaka Brewer of Lawrenceburg, TN, Breanna Bratcher of Hohenwald, TN, Hailey Harris of Columbia, TN, Austin Harris of Columbia, TN, Emily Bratcher of Hohenwald, TN, Kalvin Griffin of Waynesboro, TN, and C. J. Durham of Hohenwald, TN.
Services for Johnnie Dwayne Brewer were held on Tuesday, February 12, 2019 at 1:00 p.m. at Shackelford Funeral Directors of Waynesboro in Waynesboro, TN with Paul Kelley officiating. Burial followed at Highland Methodist Church Cemetery in Lawrence County, TN. Shackelford Funeral Directors, Wayne County was in charge of all arrangements.
