Michael Boyd Dunkin, age 64, of Fort Wayne, Indiana, passed away Sunday, February 10, 2019, at Parkview Memorial Hospital in Fort Wayne, Indiana.
He was born in Lawrenceburg, Tennessee on July 30, 1954. He graduated from Summertown High School in 1972. He ran Four Seasons Market in Columbia, Tennessee, from 1983-2003. He had resided in Fort Wayne, Indiana, since 2005.
He was the son of the late Cecil Boyd Dunkin and the late Avis Copeland Collins. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his brother: Joseph Mark Copeland; grandparents: Ben and Jewell Copeland of Lawrenceburg, and Clint and Maggie Dunkin of Ethridge.
He is survived by two sons: Michael Daron (Mary) Dunkin of Murfreesboro and Benjamin Jake Dunkin of Leoma; two sisters: Dianne Dunkin (Jim) Gerencser of Fort Wayne, Indiana, and Mary Elizabeth Stofel of Leoma; two grandsons: Taylor and Noah Dunkin of Murfreesboro; niece: Brittnay Nicole Collier of Fort Wayne, Indiana; uncle: John (Peggy) Copeland of California; aunt: Rogers Dunkin of Ethridge; and many cousins in the Lawrenceburg area.
Funeral services for Michael Boyd Dunkin were conducted at Neal Funeral Home at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, February 16, 2019, with Jim Ledbetter officiating. Burial followed at Ethridge Masonic Cemetery in Ethridge, TN. Neal Funeral Home was in charge of all arrangements. Condolences may be sent by way of: www.nealfuneralhome.net.
