Ruby Carol Ashmore Darnell, age 92, of Summertown, TN passed away Wednesday, February 13, 2019 at Lewis County Nursing and Rehab in Hohenwald, TN.
She was a native of Lewis County, TN, retired from H.I.S. Mfg., and a member of Summertown United Methodist Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents: Dink and Pearl May Burlison Ashmore; her husband: Joseph Ray Darnell; one sister: Florine Darnell; and two brothers: Odell Ashmore and James Ashmore.
She is survived by one son: Ronnie Darnell (Regina), Summertown, TN; one granddaughter: Rhonda Darnell Haygood, Summertown, TN; two great-granddaughters: Rhalyssa Haygood and Rhabecca Haygood, Summertown, TN; one sister: Alma Ashmore Hall, Summertown, TN.
Funeral services for Ruby Carol Ashmore Darnell were conducted at Neal Funeral Home at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, February 15, 2019, with Thomas Mattox officiating.  Burial followed at Hinestown Cemetery in Lewis County, TN. Neal Funeral Home was in charge of all arrangements.
