James Edward Turner, age 65 of Loretto, TN passed away Tuesday May 7, 2019 at home after an extended illness.
He was a native of Lawrence Co, TN, retired from TVA, and of the Baptist faith.
He was preceded in death by his parents: Clarence and Susie Landtroop Turner; sister: Kathy Turner; brothers: E.H. Ells, Kent Turner, Stormy Turner, and Mack Turner; and granddaughter: Amanda Littrell.
Survivors include his wife: Patty Ann Turner of Loretto; son: Joshua Blake Turner, Loretto; daughters: Ginger Prince (Scottie) of St Joseph, TN, Christy Braly (John), Leoma, TN, and Chasity Turner and Jessica Fowler, both of Loretto; brothers: Hershel Turner and Bill Turner of Loretto; sisters: Linda Hill and Elizabeth Brewer of Loretto; eleven grandchildren; two great-grandchildren.
Funeral services for James Edward Turner were held at Loretto Memorial Chapel on Friday, May 10, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. with Mahlon Fisher and Mike Ayers officiating. Burial followed at Loretto Memorial Gardens. Loretto Memorial Chapel was in charge of all arrangements.
