Eliax Dwayne Potts, age 46, of Summertown, TN passed away Saturday, May 25, 2019 at his residence.
He was a native of Summertown, employed with W. B. Riggins Tallow Company in Birmingham, AL, and a member of Whispering Hills Free Church of God.
He was preceded in death by his father: Clarence Jerome Potts; and one son: Charlie Dwayne Potts.
He is survived by his wife: Tonya Lynn Potts; one son: Eliax Blake Ray Potts; one daughter: Kayla Lynn Potts; his mother: Doris Ann Potts; two sisters: Reather Risner and Pamela Renea Christian; and one brother: James Jerome Potts, all of Summertown, TN; father-in-law: Lester Cummins of Lawrenceburg, TN; sixteen nieces and nephews.
Funeral services for Eliax Dwayne Potts were conducted at Whispering Hills Free Church of God at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, May 29, 2019 with Terry Potts officiating. Burial followed at Henryville Cemetery in Lawrence County, TN. Those serving as pallbearers were: Wesley Turnbo, Matthew Smith, James Thomas Potts, Ryan Christian, David Lee Risner, Danny Risner, Ronnie Christian, and Joe Potts.
