Mary Ann Karnes, age 81 of Lawrenceburg, TN formerly of Franklin, TN passed away Tuesday, May 28, 2019.
She was a Million Dollar Sales Producer Realtor in Williamson County, retired from Franklin Realtors, member of the Colonial Order of the Crown The Sovereign and Regal Court; the National Society Colonial Dames Claredon Chapter XVII Century; United Daughters of the Confederacy Great Great Great Granddaughters Club; Magna Charter Dames and Barons; Continental Society Daughters of Indian Wars; Daughters of the American Colonists; General Society of the War of 1812; Daughters of American Revolution founding member of William Branch Giles and First Families of TN.
She was preceded in death by her father: Ralph Curtis Clements; and her mother: Lillian Clements Isom.
She is survived by her husband of 66 years: James C. “Jimmy” Karnes; sons: James C. “Bubba” (Lynn) Karnes and Timothy A. “Tim” (Sheila) Karnes; daughters: Nancy (Mont) Smith and Tammy Baskin; brother: Howard D. “Buddy” (Jeannie) Isom; grandchildren: Jessica (David) Lowe, Jennifer (Randy) Davis, Randall R. III “Rafe” (Anna) Baskin, James Blake (Antonio Compton) Baskin, Stefan R. (Taylor Richardson) Baskin, Timothy A. “T.J.” Richardson and Brandy Karnes; step-grandchildren: Paul Smith, Courtney Smith, Chasity Watkins, Cory Richardson, Chelsea Curtis and Krystal Osborne; several great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; and other loving family members.
Graveside services and burial for Mary Ann Karnes were conducted 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, June 1, 2019 at Williamson Memorial Gardens with Jim Taylor officiating. Williamson Memorial Funeral Home was in charge of all arrangements. Memorials may be made to the Shriners Children’s Hospital.
