NOTICE OF CHANCERY COURT LAND SALE

Pursuant to a decree rendered by the Chancery Court, at Lawrenceburg, Tennessee, in the above styled case, the following described property will be sold ON THE PREMISES on Saturday, July 20, 2019 at 10:00 a.m., said order being entered December 11th, 2018, ordering the Clerk and Master, as Special Commissioner, to sell at public auction the real property belonging to the Estate of Virginia Lemay to the highest and best bidder.

The sale will be held on the premises at 510 Stephens Street, Lawrenceburg, TN.  The property being more particularly described as follows:

Situated, lying and being in the 8th Civil District of Lawrence County, Tennessee, within the city of Lawrenceburg, and being Lot No. 60 of the G.T. Stephens Subdivision, a plat of which is of record in Trust Book 40, page 270, ROLCo., Tennessee. Said lot lies between Stephens Street and Abernathy Street and is 50’ x 111’ according to plat.

This being the same property conveyed to Lawrenceburg Federal Savings and Loan Association by Successor Trustee’s Deed of record in Deed Book 264, pages 673-75, Register’s Office of Lawrence County, Tennessee.

Being the same property conveyed to Virginia Lemay by deed of record in Deed Book No. 276, pages 331-32 Register’s Office of Lawrence County, Tennessee.

   TERMS OF SALE:  The above real estate will be sold for cash with 10% down day of sale with the balance due upon confirmation by the Court.  The sale will be held open for ten (10) days until Tuesday, July 30th, 2019 at 10:00 a.m., during which time a person may come by the office of the Clerk and Master at the Lawrence County Courthouse and raise the highest bid received at the auction by 10% and depositing 10% of that bid with the court.  If the bid is advanced, another auction will be held at the Lawrence County Courthouse on Wednesday, July 31st, 2019 at 10:00 am.  The high bidder on that day will be the buyer.  If the bid is not advanced, the high bidder at the sale will be the buyer.  Possession passes upon delivery of deed. Taxes for 2019 to be prorated between the buyer and seller assuming 2018 tax rates. Announcements made day of sale take precedence over all printed material.

Pursuant to Section 66-31-105(2) (G), Tennessee Code Annotated, notice is hereby given that the contents of space Number 7 in the self-service storage facility known as Ethridge Mini Storage will be sold at auction to the highest bidder for cash at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, July 6, 2019 at Ethridge Mini Storage, Ethridge, Lawrence County, Tennessee, to satisfy an owner’s lien on such contents, claimed by Diane Alexander. Said self-service storage facility is located at the address set forth above where the sale will take place. The name of the occupant (lessee) of said space Number 7 is Diane Alexander.
