Ruth Toungett, age 82, of Lawrenceburg, TN passed away Sunday, July 7, 2019 at her residence.
She was a native of Lawrence County, TN, retired housekeeper from the Lawrence County Courthouse, a homemaker, a grandmother, and a member of Gandy Church of Christ.
She was preceded in death by her parents: Emmitt and Tina Bell Henson Faulkner.
She is survived by her husband: Ray Toungett; one daughter: Cherrie Toungett Jones; one son: Randy Jones; three grandchildren: Katie Jones Caldwell, Matthew Jones, and Drew Caldwell, all of Lawrenceburg, TN; three sisters; five brothers; several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services for Ruth Toungett were conducted at Neal Funeral Home at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, July 10, 2019, with Larry Murdock officiating. Interment followed at Lawrence County Memorial Gardens in Lawrenceburg, TN. Neal Funeral Home was in charge of all arrangements.
