Beatrice Weaver King Evans “Granny Bea”, age 95, of Lawrenceburg, TN passed away Wednesday, July 10, 2019 at NHC Healthcare of Lawrenceburg.
She was a native of Waterloo, AL, former owner of Kings Cloth Shop, retired from Parks Belk, and the oldest member of Pleasant Grove United Methodist Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents: Luther and Ida Ann McDaniel Weaver; her first husband: Johnnie King; her second husband: Lyle Evans; two sons: Kenneth “Rooster” King and Johnny Ray King; one daughter: Myrna Mobbs; one brother: J. C. Weaver; and two great-grandchildren.
She is survived by daughter-in-law: Kathy King; two sons: Glenn King (Letha) and Lanny Evans (Carolyn); one sister: Frances Buie (Joe) all of Lawrenceburg, TN; 13 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren; and 8 great-great-grandchildren.
Funeral services for Beatrice Weaver King Evans were conducted at Neal Funeral Home at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, July 13, 2019 with Tommy Flood and Bobby Gobble officiating.  Interment followed at Pleasant Grove Cemetery in Lawrence County, TN.  Family suggests memorials be made to Pleasant Grove United Methodist Church. Neal Funeral Home was in charge of all arrangements.
