The Lawrence County Emergency
Communications District will be accepting
applications for the position of Communications
Offi cer through Friday, July 25, 2019 at 4:00 p.m.
Applicants should be multi-task capable, with
good oral communication skills. Experience
in Emergency Services, Telecommunications,
and Computer Operations a plus. Applications
can be picked up at 233 W. Gaines between
the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m., Monday
through Friday. Pre-employment drug
screen and psychological exam required. All
applications on fi le will be considered.

The Lawrence County School System is required
by law to locate, identify, and service children
3-21 who are disabled. These disabilities may
include speech-language, vision, hearing, health
impairment, physical impairment, developmental
delays, as well as impaired intellectual functioning.
If you, or someone you know, may be in need of
special services or evaluations, please call the
Special Education Department at 762-5251, or
the school in your area to arrange an appointment.
If qualifi cation guidelines are met, services are
provided free of charge, regardless of income.

In this cause, it appearing from the Complaint, which is sworn to, that the Defendant Chad Lavon Davis is a non-resident of the State of Tennessee, that the residence of the defendant is unknown and cannot be ascertained upon diligent inquiry, (T.C.A. 21-1-203), it is ordered by me that publication be made for four successive weeks, as required by law, in the Lawrence County Advocate, a newspaper published in Lawrence County, Tennessee, in said County, notifying said non-resident Defendant to file an answer with Plaintiff’s Attorney, Shawn Wilson, whose address is 101 S. Jefferson Ave., Cookeville, TN 38501 within 30 days from the last date of publication, exclusive of said last date of publication, or a judgment by default may be entered and the cause set for hearing ex parte as to 8/7/19.
