Edward “ Eddie” Gene Lopp, Jr., age 62 of Leoma, TN passed away Sunday, August 4, 2019 at Huntsville Hospital after a sudden illness.
He was a native of Michigan, honorably served in the National Guard, retired from Wilson Oil Company and was of the Baptist faith.
He was preceded in death by his father: Bro. Ed Lopp, Sr.
He is survived by his wife: Mary Franks Lopp, Leoma; daughter: Wendy Jones (Wes), Boaz, AL; son: Eric Lopp, Leoma; mother: Sarah Jo Lopp, Lawrenceburg; sister: Tammy Clayton (Stanley), Lawrenceburg; three grandchildren: Ashley McKissack (Josh), Tiler Crowder and Elizabeth Crowder; special friends: Dewayne Cartee and Rhyan Kuhl; several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews also survive.
A Celebration of Life service for Edward “Eddie” Gene Lopp, Jr., will be held at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, August 8, 2019 at Deerfield Baptist Church with Richard Beard and Kyle Lopp officiating. Visitation with the family will be from 5:00 to 9:00 p.m. on Thursday, August 8, 2019 at Deerfield Baptist Church. Loretto Memorial Chapel is in charge of all arrangements.
