Robert Cordell Hyde, age 82, of Lawrenceburg, TN passed away Tuesday, August 6, 2019 at his residence surrounded by family and Bro. Chad.
He was a native of Henryville, TN, retired from UPS, a member of Gum Springs Baptist Church and the Teamsters Union. Mr. Hyde served his country honorably in the U.S. Air Force.
He was preceded in death by his parents: Rudolph Martin and Sarah Emma Luker Hyde; grandson: Zachary Hill; brothers: Elzo Hyde, Preston Hyde, Frank Hyde, LeRoy Hyde, Rudolph Hyde, Jr. and Alvin Hyde; and twin sister: Peggy Hyde.
He is survived by his wife: Linda Hyde of Lawrenceburg, TN; two sons: Preston Hyde (Kim) and Herbie Hill (Cheryl) both of Lawrenceburg, TN; four daughters: Lori Dollar (Nathan) of Lawrenceburg, TN, Lisa Davis (Rodney) of Soddy Daisy, TN, Robbie Fincher (Bobby) of Lawrenceburg, TN, and Dulcyana Hill-Allen (Lindsey) of Ringgold, GA; twelve grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren; two brothers, Calvin Hyde (Jackie) and Melvin Hyde (Janet) both of Lawrenceburg, TN; one sister, Joanne Rayfield (Gene) of Lawrenceburg, TN; several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services for Robert Cordell Hyde were conducted at Neal Funeral Home at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, August 9, 2019 with Brandon Dollar, Skyler Hyde, and Chad Clanton officiating.  Interment followed at Mimosa Cemetery in Lawrenceburg, TN with full military honors.
