She was preceded in death by her father: Daniel Risner.
Survivors include her mother: Betty Jean Summers; son: Shawn Englett; daughter: Kirsten Judkins; brothers: Danny Risner (Reather), Don Risner (Kim); grandchildren: Country Michael Englett, Cassie Nicole Englett, and Jon Parker Harrison; several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services for Melissa Yvonne Brassfield were conducted at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, August 18, 2019 at Pettus-Turnbo Funeral Chapel with Bro. Terry Potts officiating.
