Elizabeth Jane Spears, age 77, of Summertown, TN passed away Tuesday, September 3, 2019 at her residence.
She was a native of Lawrence County, TN, retired from Kay Windsor, and a member of Barnesville Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents: Howard Rhinehart and Elsie Foster Rhinehart Jennings; one brother: Edwin Rhinehart; one son: Johnny Spears; two daughters: Cindy Spears and Patricia Spears; and one grandson: Alex Spears.
She is survived by her husband: Rev. Johnny Odell Spears of Summertown, TN; one son: Larry Spears (Joyce) of Summertown, TN; one daughter: Sharon Springer (Phillip) of New Prospect, TN; four grandchildren: Krystle Wilburn (Jason) of Lawrenceburg, TN, Lauren Thomas (Brodrick) of Hermitage, TN, Jon Springer (Jorden) of Georgia, and Hannah Dunnavant (Trea) of Lawrenceburg, TN; two great-grandchildren: Alexis Wilburn and Chloe Wilburn both of Lawrenceburg, TN; two sisters: Peggy Sims and Marlene Johns both of Summertown, TN; one brother: Virgil Rhinehart (Carolyn) of Summertown, TN; several close nieces and nephews; and special caregiver: Kim Walls.
Funeral services for Elizabeth Jane Spears were conducted at Neal Funeral Home at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, September 6, 2019, with Carlos Casteel and Larry Spears officiating. Interment followed at Barnesville Cemetery in Summertown, TN. Neal Funeral Home was in charge of all arrangements. Condolences may be sent by way of: www.nealfuneralhome.net.
