Willie Lawrence Ramsey, age 65, of Lawrenceburg, TN passed away Monday, October 14, 2019 at his residence.
He was a native of Lawrence County, TN, employed with Murray Ohio for 23 years, and retired from Walmart after 10 years. He was a member and Sunday School Superintendent of Harmony Church of the Nazarene for many years.
He was preceded in death by his parents: Willie Cecil and Margaret Carlee Robertson Ramsey; grandson: Hunter Gaines; one brother: Leroy Ramsey; and two sisters: Virginia Clark and Gladys Tripp.
He is survived by his wife: Shirley Ramsey of Lawrenceburg, TN; four daughters: Rebecca Coleman (Tony), Christy Tabor (Jeff), Pamela Gonzalez (Carlos) and Amanda Hogan (Shawn), all of Lawrenceburg, TN; nine grandchildren: T.J., Nicholas, Alain, Shane, Alicia, Shanna, Hannah, Sofia, and Nevaeh, all of Lawrenceburg, TN; one brother: Thomas Ramsey of Lawrenceburg, TN; and four sisters: Frances Martin of Town Creek, AL, Florence Medley, Dorothy Belew, and Genevia Martin all of Lawrenceburg, TN.
Funeral services for Willie Lawrence Ramsey were conducted at Harmony Church of the Nazarene at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, October 17, 2019, with Josh Wallace and Lawrence Golden officiating.
