Richard David Daniel was born January 21, 1946 in Collinwood , TN  to the union of the late Carnell “Cricket” and Imogene Brison Daniel. He was united in marriage to Betty Kilburn on Saturday, July 3, 1965. He was a machine operator at Murray Ohio, a member of the Lawrence County Classic Car Club, and he attended Zion Baptist Church in Waynesboro, TN. He departed this life on November 5, 2019 in Lawrenceburg, TN making his stay in this life some 73 years, 9 months and 15 days.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers: Robert “Bob” Daniel and Michael Anthony Daniel; and a sister: Ramona Daniel Kelley.
He is survived by his wife of 54 years: Betty Kilburn Daniel of Waynesboro, TN; son: Ricky Daniel (Chrystie) of Waynesboro, TN; daughter: Angie Daniel Purcell (Chuck)  of Lawrenceburg, TN; brother: Roy Daniel (Mabelline) of Leoma, TN; sisters: Patricia Daniel Oglesby (David) of Nashville, TN and Janice Daniel Miller (Dale) of Lawrenceburg, TN; two grandchildren: Josh Daniel of Waynesboro, TN and Jacey Purcell of Lawrenceburg, TN; and one great-grandchild: Triton Daniel of Savannah, TN.
Funeral services for Richard David Daniel were held on Friday, November 8, 2019 at 1:00 p.m. at Shackelford Funeral Directors in Waynesboro, TN with Danny Huckaba officiating. Burial followed at Cole Cemetery, Waynesboro, TN. Shackelford Funeral Directors of Wayne County was in charge of all arrangements.
