Dorothy Jean Clifton Fowler, age 88, of Lawrenceburg, TN passed away Saturday, November 16, 2019 at Maury Regional Medical Center in Columbia, TN.
She was a native of Lawrence County, TN, retired from Dura Automotive, and a member of Pulaski Street Church of Christ.
She was preceded in death by her parents: Andrew and Ethel Amy McMahan Clifton; her first husband: James Edward “Bud” Fowler, Sr.; her second husband: Coy Green; one daughter: Deborah Duke; and one son: James E. “Jim” Fowler, Jr.
She is survived by five grandsons: Shane Johnson and Andy Johnson, both of Nashville, TN, Dustin Fowler (Shannon) of Dallas, TX, Derrick Fowler (Amanda) of Knoxville, TN, and Dain Fowler of Spring Hill, TN; one granddaughter: Daisha Fowler of Murfreesboro, TN; five great-grandchildren; daughter-in-law: Kay Fowler Smith (Jerry) of Lawrenceburg, TN; one sister: Vastel Pierce of Minor Hill, TN; several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services for Dorothy Jean Clifton Fowler were conducted at Neal Funeral Home at 3:00 p.m. on Wednesday, November 20, 2019, with Brian Manning officiating. Interment followed at Lawrence County Memorial Gardens in Lawrenceburg, TN.
