Hazel Marie Strantz, age 86, of Spring City, TN passed away Wednesday, December 18, 2019 at her residence.
She was a native of Lawrence County, TN, retired from Scott Memorial Hospital, and a member of Prayer Baptist Church in Michigan.
She was preceded in death by her parents: Odis B. and Mable E. Flippo Staggs; her husband: Albert Strantz; one daughter: Rita Neill; one brother: George Staggs; and two sisters: Ann Lopp and Gracie Green.
She is survived by one daughter: Kayla Rhymer (Kevin) of Spring City, TN; one son: Jerry Don Gray of Loretto, TN; four brothers: Grady Staggs of Decatur, TN, Harold Staggs, Odie Staggs, and Dennis Staggs all of Lawrenceburg, TN; two sisters: Edith Thomas and Ruby Osborn both of Lawrenceburg, TN; two granddaughters: Elaine Newey and Lisa Dawson both of St. Joseph, MO; one grandson: Ethan Rhymer of Spring City, TN; four great-grandchildren: Tara, Nick, Brady and Ryan; and two great-great-grandchildren: Noah and Evan.
Funeral services for Hazel Marie Strantz were conducted at Neal Funeral Home at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, December 21, 2019 with Jerry Flippo and Charles Gresham officiating.
