NOTICE TO CREDITORS
(As Required by Chapter No. 886, Public Acts of Tennessee 2012, TCA §30-2-306(b) )

Deceased resident of Lawrence County, Tennessee
Notice is Hereby given that on the 8th day of January, 2020, Letters of Testamentary, in respect of the Estate of EDITH JEANETTE BRINK who died September 3, 2019, were issued to the undersigned by the Probate Court Clerk of Lawrence County, Tennessee.
All persons, resident and non-resident, having claims, matured or unmatured against the Estate are required to file the same with the Clerk of the above named Court on or before the earlier of the dates prescribed in (1) or (2) otherwise their claims will be forever barred:
(1) (A) Four (4) months from the date of the first publication (or posting, as the case may be) of this notice if the creditor received an actual copy of this notice to creditors at least sixty (60) days before the date that is four (4) months from the date of the first publication (or posting); or
(B) Sixty (60) days from the date the creditor received an actual copy of the notice to creditors if the creditor received the copy of the notice less than sixty (60) days prior to the date that is four (4) months from the date of first publication (or posting) as described in (1) (A); or
(2) Twelve (12) months from the decedent’s date of death.

Contractors has substantially completed
the 2017 Lawrence County (Iron City
Utility District) CDBG Water System
Rehabilitation Project according the
terms of their contract with Lawrence
County. Any persons, firm, or corporation
having any unpaid claims against said
contractor for labor, material, or supplies
in connection with said work is hereby
notified to present the same in the
manner and within the time required by

p.m. in the county commission room
of the Lawrence County Courthouse.
This meeting is being held to discuss
Lawrence County’s recently completed
2017 Lawrence County Community
Development Block Grant (CDBG)
Water System Improvement Project for
the Iron City Utility District.

Public Notice of Summertown Utility
District Commissioner Vacancy
A vacancy exists on the Board of Commissioners of
Summertown Utility District due to the resignation
of Donnie Perry effective December 31, 2019. The
Board plans to certify a list of three nominees to
the Lawrence County Executive to fill this vacancy
at its regular meeting at 6:00 p.m. on January 20,
2020, to be held at the District’s office at 104 Shady
Street, Summertown, TN 38483 (enter at the side
door marked “Conference Room”.) A customer
may submit a name for consideration by the Board
for the list of nominees. To be considered the
name must be submitted to the District’s General
Manager no later than one week before this Board
meeting.
