Ruby Nell Sylvester Davenport, age 87, of Summertown, TN passed away Saturday, February 1, 2020 at her residence in Summertown, TN.
She was a native of Lawrence County, TN, a retired worker of Kay Windsor and ceramic shop owner, and a member of Chapel Grove Church of Christ.
She was preceded in death by her parents: Richard and Minnie Lou Sylvester; and her husband: James Davenport.
She is survived by one son: Gary Davenport and wife, Beverly, of Summertown, TN; four daughters: Reba Ann Patton and late husband, Dwight, of Ethridge, TN, Cathy Marie Scott and husband, Jimmy, of Summertown, TN, Karen Runnels of Summertown, TN and Beverly Weaver and husband, Dwayne, of Summertown, TN; two sisters: Francis Lyons and late husband, Billy, of Summertown, TN, and Chloe Ann Horton and husband Elwin, of Ethridge, TN; sixteen grandchildren: Annette and Finley Bishop, of Ethridge, TN, Phillip Patton, of Summertown, TN, Steve and Tonya Patton, of Ethridge, TN, Dana and Terry Long, of Summertown, TN, Bridget and Jarrod Dotson, of Summertown, TN, Heather and Matthew Dinwiddie, of Summertown, TN, Jason and Deana Runnels, of Summertown, TN, Anthony and Marsha Davenport, of Summertown, TN, Tony Long, of Summertown, TN, Joshua and Andrea Runnels, of Summertown, TN, Tonya and Josh Lance, of Lawrenceburg, TN, Mary and Matt Herring, of Summertown, TN, Jennifer and Jeremy Davis, of Summertown, TN, Jimmy and Chelsie Hobbs, of Moulton, AL, Krystal and Daniel Bradford, of Eva, AL and Jason Weaver, of Summertown, TN; 45 great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren; several nieces; and one nephew.
Funeral services for Ruby Nell Sylvester Davenport were conducted at Neal Funeral Home at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, February 4, 2020, with Phillip Patton officiating.
