Kathryn Griffin Brown, age 91, of Lawrenceburg, TN passed away Friday, March 20, 2020 at Fair Haven Retirement Community.
She was a retired secretary at Salant & Salant Shirt Factory and Union Carbide. She enjoyed cross stitching and sewing for her children and grandchildren, she loved everything University of Tennessee sports, and was well known for her amazing cooking. She was a member of College Place Church of Christ.
She was preceded in death by her parents: Rufus Griffin and Grace Sledge Griffin; her husband: Clyde Brown; brothers: Raymond Griffin, Norman Griffin, and Harlan Griffin; sisters: Willie Griffin and Ora Parrish.
She is survived by her sons: Gary Brown (Margaret) and David Brown (Karla); grandchildren: Kaitlin, Matthew, Brian, LeAnna; and one great-grandchild: Madelyn.
Graveside services for Kathryn Griffin Brown were held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, March 23, 2020 at Lawrence County Memorial Gardens. Pettus-Turnbo Funeral Home was in charge of all arrangements. Condolences may be sent by way of: www.pettusturnbo.com.
