Mildred Louise Powell, age 100, of Lawrenceburg, TN, passed away Thursday, April 9, 2020 at Countryside nursing home.
She enjoyed baking for the community and helped many people celebrate birthdays, anniversaries, and weddings with the cakes she had made. She was a member of Meadowview Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents: Guy H. Powell and Zille McMasters Powell; brothers: William Segle Powell, James Onus Powell, Hurschel Powell, Charles Theo Powell, Mitchell Powell, and Emmitt Powell; sisters: Barbara Powell Warhurst, Bula Virginia Powell, Agnes Powell McCarter, and Baby Sister.
She is survived by her nieces: Dianne McCarter and Rita Deuchle (Ernie); several nieces and nephews, great-nieces and nephews, and great-great-nieces and nephews.
A graveside service and burial for Mildred Louise Powell was held at Freemon Cemetery on Monday, April 13, 2020 at 2:00 p.m. with Bro. Charles Gresham officiating.
