Please take notice that a hearing will be held on June 5, 2020, at 9:00 a.m. at the Lawrence
County Courthouse on the Plaintiffs’ application for a default judgment to be taken against
all Defendants, and that Defendants should appear and make defense to said application for
default judgment, or said cause shall be taken as confessed by Defendants, and the same
shall be set for hearing ex parte.

The Defendant taxpayer may have the suit dismissed as to his/her property by paying into the
Court all outstanding taxes, penalties and all costs.

This is not an attempt to collect from you personally, but to collect on the real property

involved in this lawsuit.

School Football Field Perimeter Fencing.

Bids will be accepted until 4:00 p.m.
on June 4, 2020 local time, bids will be
publicly opened immediately thereafter.
Bid opening will be held in the Municipal
Complex Council Meeting Room located
at 25 Public Square. No bid recieved
after the above time will be opened or
considered.

Special Notice May 28, 2020 Meeting

Public Notice of Regular Meetings of the
Board of Utilities of the City of Lawrenceburg,
Tennessee

Notice is hereby given that the Board of Public
Utilities regular monthly meeting is scheduled
for May 28, 2020 at 5:00 pm. The Board meets
each month to discuss and handle all business
that pertains to the functions of the Lawrenceburg
Utility Systems, as may be deemed necessary for
the operation of the Utility Systems.

The next scheduled Board meeting is May 28,
2020 at 5:00 pm, at 1607 North Locust Avenue,
Lawrenceburg, TN.

This notice is published in compliance with the
Sunshine Law of the State of Tennessee.

 

Pursuant to section 67-5-508, Tennessee Code
Annotated, the property assessment records of
Lawrence County will be available for public inspection
in the second floor conference room of
the Lawrence County Administrative Center during
normal business hours. Any person desiring to
inspect these records may do so at the appointed
time and place.

The Lawrence County Board of Equalization
will begin it’s annual session to examine and
equalize the county assessments on June 1,
2020. THE BOARD WILL ACCEPT APPEALS
FOR TAX YEAR 2020 ONLY UNTIL THE LAST
DAY OF ITS 2020 REGULAR SESSION, WHICH
WILL BE JUNE 12, 2020. The Board will meet
each weekday from the hours of 9:00 a.m. to 3:00

p.m. in the converence room of the Lawrence
County Administrative Center. Any owner of property
who wishes to make a complaint or appeal
to the County Board of Equalization must appear
before said Board at this time personally or by
personal appearance of an agent for the owner
bearing the owner’s written authorization. Failure
to appear and appeal an assessment will result
in the assessment becoming final without further
right of appeal.
