Syble Carlene Blade, age 77, wife of Frank Blade, and a resident of Lawrenceburg, passed away Monday, June 8, 2020 at Maury Regional Medical Center.
Born on March 30, 1943 in Lawrenceburg, Carlene was the daughter of the late Oscar Athal Baker and the late Reba Marie Hannah Baker. She married Frank Blade in February of 1964 and together they had two sons. She worked forty years for Santini Clothing Manufacturing in Lawrenceburg before retiring. She enjoyed traveling and taking vacations. Above all, she loved her family, especially her grandchildren.
Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her son: Jeff Blade; sister: Jimmie Faye Spruell; and brothers-in-law: Bud Taylor, Charlie Baldwin and Neil Spruell.
In addition to her husband of 56 years, Frank, she is survived by her son: Chris (Rebecca) Blade of Lawrenceburg; daughter-in-law: Tina Blade of Summertown; brother: Junior Baker of Lawrenceburg; sisters: Clara Baldwin of Virginia, Regina Taylor of Ethridge, Oneita (Jimmy) White of Pulaski; grandchildren: Sarah, Ryan, and Wyatt Blade; and numerous nieces and nephews.
