Dwight H. James, Sr., age 92, passed away Wednesday, July 22, 2020 at his residence in Lawrenceburg, TN.
Dwight proudly served his country in the United States Navy and retired from Murray Ohio. He was a proud parent, grandfather, and great-grandfather and loved his family very much.
He is preceded in death by his wife: JoNell James; parents: Phillip Issac James and Ruby James; two brothers; one sister.
He is survived by his sons: Dwight H. James, Jr. (Donna) and Bobby Joe James; daughter: Anita Grinnell (Nathan); grandchildren: Kelly James, Kandice Coleman (Jeremy), Kyle James (Ginny), and Amanda Hendrick (Josh); as well as several nieces and nephews.
Graveside services and burial for Dwight H. James, Sr., will be held at O.K. Baptist Church Cemetery at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, July 24, 2020. Pettus-Turnbo Funeral Home is in charge of all arrangements. Condolences may be sent by way of: www.pettusturnbo.com.
