Sadie Staggs Wischnowsky (Brownie), age 77, passed away on February 15, 2020 in Bourbonnais, Illinois.
She was born July 26, 1942 in Lawrenceburg, TN to parents Charles Staggs and Linnie Birr. She was a factory worker and homemaker. She was of the Baptist faith, had a huge heart, and loved animals, especially dogs.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her siblings: Ruby McBride, Faye Risner, Louise Mabry, Catherine Staggs, and Calvin Staggs.
She is survived by her sons: Donald Matherly (Becky), and Chris Mattherly (Patty); daughters: Wanda Hargate (Buddy, Jr.) and Donna Fisher (Roy); grandchildren: Jason and Ashley Cooper, Jesse and Caitlin Cooper, Angela Cooper, Jennifer and Mitch Hall, Jessica Fisher, Tara and Evan Goolsby, Amanda Matherly, Andrea Matherly, Ashley and Kyle Clark, D.J. and Brooke Matherly, and Christopher Matherly, Jr.; many great-grandchildren; one great-great-granddaughter; and many nieces and nephews.
Funeral services for Sadie Staggs Wischnowsky (Brownie) will be held Saturday, August 15, 2020 at 2:00 p.m. at Fuller’s Chapel, Leoma, TN with Bill Mabry officiating.
