Leanna Ilene McDonald Peters, age 62, passed away Thursday, August 13, 2020 at her home in Lawrenceburg.
She was a native of Lawrence County, TN and a graduate of the University of North Alabama nursing program. She was a nurse at Crockett Hospital and Maury Regional ICU. She was a member of Choates Creek United Methodist Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents: Coy and Veda McDonald.
She is survived by one son: Josh Peters (Amber) of Lawrenceburg; one sister: Judy Smith (Bobby) of Leoma; one brother: Ray McDonald (Vickie) of Lawrenceburg; one granddaughter: Sophia; one step-grandson: John Ethan; and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
A Celebration of Life for Leanna Ilene McDonald Peters will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, August 22, 2020 at Mars Hill United Methodist Church. Burial will follow at Mars Hill Cemetery.
