Beadie Louise Akins, age 98, of Ethridge, TN passed away Saturday, August 15, 2020.
She was a native of Appleton, TN, retired from Salant & Salant, and a member of Ethridge First Baptist Church where she taught Junior Sunday School for 40 years.
She was preceded in death by her parents: Freeman Clark and Ora Naomi Jenkins Akins; and two sisters: Jewel Winters and Jo Booth.
She is survived by one sister: Faye Love of Rogersville, AL; two nieces: Barbara Winters Boyett (Leroy) of Meridianville, AL and Valerie Yancey of Franklin, TN; four nephews: Kenneth Winters, Sr. (Barbara) of Lawrenceburg, TN, Jeffrey Love (Mary) of Madison, AL, Mike Love (Daphne) of Rogersville, AL, and Doug Booth (Beth) of Huntsville, AL; several great-nieces and great-nephews.
Graveside services and interment for Beadie Louise Akins were conducted at Lawrence County Memorial Gardens at 12:00 p.m. on Wednesday, August 19, 2020 with Ken Winters, Mike Love, and Valerie Yancey officiating. Neal Funeral Home was in charge of all arrangements.
