Joseph J. Kane, Jr., or for those that knew him, “JoeKane”, age 72, of Lawrenceburg, TN passed away Wednesday, August 26, 2020 at Maury Regional Medical Center in Columbia, TN.
Joseph was of the Christian faith. He grew up in New Jersey and was a proud United States Air Force veteran who volunteered at God’s Storehouse, grew blueberries at 2 Duck Ranch, enjoyed timber framing, raised chickens, and was an organic farmer with a long standing relationship with Shoal Creek Animal Hospital. He is preceded in death by his parents: Joseph Kane, Sr., and Anna Kane.
He is survived by his wife: Rachel Kane; sons: Bill Kane (Tonya), David Truxes, Anthony R.D. Kane; daughters: Dawn Willis (Larry), Tara Tavish Cole; sister: JoAnn Rose (Bill); grandchildren: Ian, Austyn, Lily, Alex, Alexis; great-grandchild: Mila; beloved dog: Jasper.
