SUBSTITUTE TRUSTEE’S NOTICE OF FORECLOSURE SALE
Default  having  been  made  in  the  terms,  conditions  and payments  provided in a certain Deed of Trust, dated September 28, 2006, executed by Judy Keeton and husband, Barry Keeton to Paul B. Plant, Trustee, of record in Record Book 241, Page 1, in the Register’s Office for Lawrence County, Tennessee, and a certain Deed of Trust, dated March 30, 2007, executed by Judy Keeton and husband, Barry W. Keeton to Martin L. Haggard, Jr., Trustee, of record in Record Book 257, Page 494, in the Register’s Office of Lawrence County, Tennessee, and a certain Modification Agreement and Extension of Deed of Trust, dated January 18, 2011, to the Wayne County Bank, of record in Record Book 356, Page 886, Register’s Office of Lawrence County, Tennessee, and to W. Situated lying and being in the 8th Civil District of Lawrence County, Tennessee, and in the Town of Lawrenceburg, Tennessee, and being known as Lot No. 2; Beginning at a stake in the eastern part of an alley running northwardly from Gaines Street at the northwest corner of a lot formerly owned by McNeil; thence east with the north boundary line of the same about 187 feet to a stake that is 40 feet west of the center of the NF&S Railroad tract; thence northwardly and parallel with said tract 35 feet to a stake; thence westwardly about 187 feet to a stake in the margin of said alley; thence south with the same about 30 feet to the place of beginning, and being known as the Norwegian (sic) Hotel lot however, included within the above description and excluded from this conveyance is a certain tract of land fronting on an alley 30 feet and running back east between practically parallel lines about 64 feet and bounded generally north by Anderson east by Harwood and Yancey, South by W.T. Beckham and W.E. Gunselman and West by an alley.
The herein above described real property is conveyed subject to a Boundary Line Agreement, of record in Plat Book CAB C, Page 129, Register’s Office of Lawrence County, Tennessee, and the same is hereby incorporated herein by reference the same as if copied in full herein.
This being the same property conveyed to Judy Keeton, by deed of Jeanetta Kelsey, Vernon Carl Kelsey, Wayne Stevenson and Barry Keeton and wife, Judy Keeton, dated September 22, 2000, of record in Record Book 27, Page 748, Register’s Office of Lawrence County, Tennessee.
The  sale of said property shall be subject to any  and  all unpaid taxes and assessments, together with interest and penalty, if  any,  and any and all other  prior  easements,  restrictions, encumbrances, or liens of any nature.

This notice is given to all of the above whose whereabouts are unknown and to the unknown heirs at law
and distributes of any of the above parties who might be dead and to all parties in interest, owning or
claiming any interest in the respective parcels assessed to the above named parties for the taxes for the
year 2018.
In the above styled cause, it satisfactorily appearing from allegations properly sworn to under T.C.A.
21-1-203 that the defendants or their heirs, distributes or representatives are non-residents or service
of process by certified mail has been unclaimed, or that their locations are unknown so that ordinary
process of this court cannot be served upon them. It is therefore ordered that publication be made for four
consecutive weeks in the Lawrence County Advocate, a newspaper of general circulation published in
Lawrence County, TN, notifying them or their representatives to file a written plea or answer to the complaint
in the cause with the Court at the Courthouse in Lawrenceburg, TN and serve a copy thereof with
Plaintiff’s tax attorney, Charles W. Holt Jr of Lawrenceburg, TN on or before 30 days from September 23rd,
2020. If you fail to do so the plaintiff will apply to the court for judgment by default against you for the relief
demanded in the complaint and this cause will be set for hearing ex parte. The defendant taxpayer may
have the suit dismissed as to his property by paying into the court all outstanding 2018 taxes, penalties
and all costs. In the event the delinquent taxpayer has neither paid the delinquent taxes and penalties
against his property nor has made any defenses on his behalf, the property then becomes subject to sale
for the payment of the taxes and costs.
