Alex Ray Newton, age 45, of Leoma, TN passed away Wednesday, September 16, 2020 at Southern TN Regional Health System in Lawrenceburg, TN.
Alex was employed at Heritage Automotive Center.
He was preceded in death by his parents: Doyle and Juanita Roberts Newton; grandparents: Doyce and Pastelle Roberts and Jasper Nola and Alice Irene Newton.
He is survived by five aunts: Lynn (Ed) Short of Chattanooga, TN, Kay Roberts Luna of Summertown, TN, Maggie Williams of Ethridge, TN, Charlotte Plunkett of Lexington, AL, and Cathye (Henry) Phillips of Lawrenceburg, TN; two cousins that seemed more like siblings: Carla (Travis) Boring of Lexington, TN and Grady Lee Newton of Lawrenceburg, TN; and loved by many other cousins.  He was also survived by his stepdaughter: Sara Brazier of Leoma, TN.
Graveside services and inurnment for Alex Ray Newton were conducted at Oak Hill Cemetery at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, September 26, 2020 with Thomas Mattox officiating. Neal Funeral Home was in charge of all arrangements. Condolences may be sent by way of: www.nealfuneralhome.net.
