James Barton (Bart) Jones
James Barton (Bart) Jones of Lawrenceburg, TN was born December 3, 1959 in Savannah, TN, the son of Sarah Alice Kimbell Jones of Lawrenceburg, TN, who survives and the late James Frank Jones. Mr. Jones was an electrician, having worked in construction and was of the Protestant faith. He departed this life on Tuesday, September 22, 2020 at Maury Regional Medical Center in Columbia, Tennessee at the age of 60 years, 9 months, 19 days.
Other than his mother, Sarah Alice Jones, he is survived by a sister: Karen Busby, Lawrenceburg, TN; nephews: Franklin Hughes (Amelia) and Garrett Hughes (Kasey); niece: Kaitlin Busby; great-nephews: Liam and Lain Hughes; great-niece due in January, 2021; and of course, his beloved pets, his dogs: Lady, Buck and Gypsy.
A graveside service and burial for James Barton (Bart) Jones was held Saturday, September 26, 2020 at 1:00 p.m. at Shield Cemetery in Waynesboro, TN with Casey Jones, Mike Maples and John Gough officiating. Shackelford Funeral Director, Wayne County assisted the family with arrangements. Pallbearers were: Jamie Lynn, Rob Floyd, Brent Jones, Gene Maples, Jay Glover, Randall Jones, Kyle Jones and Jeff Jones.
