Joy Cottrell Ashlock, age 69, of Inyokern, CA passed away on Saturday, September 19, 2020 at Palmdale Regional Hospital in Palmdale, CA.
She was a native of Waynesboro, TN and former resident of Lawrenceburg, TN, a 1969 graduate of Fillmore High School, and a retired bookkeeper from William L. Morris Chevrolet in Fillmore, CA.
Survivors include her husband: Roy Ashlock, Sr., of Inyokern, CA; brother: Keith Cottrell of Fillmore, CA; sisters: Delphene Edwards, VA, Shirley Cromwell, Lawrenceburg, TN, and Maunie Waters, Riverside, CA; stepdaughters: Jennifer Ova, Cedar City, UT and Kristin Powell, Sisters, OR; stepsons: Roy Ashlock, Mesa, AZ and Andrew Ashlock, Cambria, CA; seven step-grandchildren; four step-great-grandchildren.
A memorial service for Joy Cottrell Ashlock will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, October 10, 2020 at Inyokern Baptist Church, Inyokern, CA, with final burial at Barksdale Cemetery. Holland & Lyons Mortuary is in charge of all arrangements.
