Willena Joyce Buie Hunter, age 93, of Ethridge, TN passed away Friday, October 2, 2020 at her residence.
She was a native of Lawrenceburg, TN, a homemaker, and a member of Deerfield Baptist Church. She was also a member of F.C.E. and Home Demonstration Club.
She was preceded in death by her parents: Albert Clarence and Reba Bryant Buie; her husband: Carl Hunter; two sisters: Patty Ruth Pinkard and Vesta Bradburn; one brother: Currin Buie; twin daughters; and one grandchild: Elliot Bennett.
She is survived by two daughters: Glenda Carlene Perry of Ethridge, TN and Beverly Ann Bennett (Lonnie) of Nashville, TN; one son: Chris Albert Hunter (Brenda) of Ethridge, TN; six grandchildren: Jennifer Bennett, Jamie Perry, Scott Bennett, Kari Sledge, Todd Perry, and Nathan Bedford; seven great-grandchildren: Kirsten Alexander, Paige Perry, Madylynn Perry, Jenna Perry, Sam Bennett, Coy Perry, and Levi Bennett; and one great-great-grandchild: Jackson Alexander.
Funeral services for Willena Joyce Buie Hunter were conducted at Neal Funeral Home at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, October 3, 2020 with Howard Kitter officiating.  Interment followed at Pleasant Garden Cemetery in Lawrence County, TN. Neal Funeral Home was in charge of all arrangements.
