Vernon E. “Red” Jacobi, age 94, of Summertown, TN passed away Wednesday, October 28, 2020 at his residence.
He was a native of Abbotsford, WI, retired from Exxon Mobil and was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Columbia, TN. Mr. Jacobi served his country in the U.S. Army.
He was preceded in death by his parents: Edwin and Clara Leonhardt Jacobi; his wife: Rena Mae Bailey Jacobi; four brothers: Alvin Jacobi, Harvey Jacobi, Lawrence Jacobi, and Robert “Bob” Jacobi; and one sister: Olive Thess.
He is survived by one sister: Audrey Pupp of WI; numerous nieces, nephews; and special friends: Sue Lyons, Patsy Davis, and Kenny Davis.
Graveside services and interment for Vernon E. “Red” Jacobi were conducted at Summertown Cemetery at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, October 31, 2020. Neal Funeral Home was in charge of all arrangements. Condolences may be sent by way of: www.nealfuneralhome.net.
